Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)

Hourly Pay Rate: $40/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a QA Manual Tester with 3-5 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing , experience working in Agile environments , and a keen eye for detail to identify and document defects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on requirements and specifications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps .
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility.
Validate API responses using tools like Postman (if applicable).
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Work closely with automation engineers to identify areas for automation improvements.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and best practices .

Required Skills & Experience:

3-5 years of experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle .
Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting .
Proficiency in test management tools (TestRail, qTest, Zephyr, etc.).
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and analytical skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience testing in a CI/CD environment .
Exposure to basic automation testing concepts (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus.
ISTQB Certification (preferred but not required).
