Job Title: Life Science Research Professional / Research Assistant

Location: Stanford, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

About the Role:

The Client is seeking a motivated Life Science Research Professional (Level 1 or 2) to support research in nerve injury and nerve regeneration . The ideal candidate will have hands-on wet-lab experience , be skilled in cell culture and DNA testing , and have worked with mouse or rat models . You will work closely with a Lead Research Scientist, independently conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications and grant submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct complex experiments and analyze results
• Develop or adapt research protocols as needed
• Maintain lab operations, equipment, and inventory
• Contribute to manuscripts, publications, and presentations
• Mentor junior staff or students when required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Biology, Neurobiology/Neuroscience, Bioengineering , or related field; Master’s preferred
• 2+ years of wet-lab experience
• Proficiency in cell culture & aseptic techniques
• Experience with mouse or rat models (preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Interest in regenerative neurobiology is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, lift 40–50 lbs, and perform repetitive lab tasks
