Job Description

We are hiring at all levels including Consultant/ Senior Consultant/ Principal - Compliance & Risk. You will be part of a cross-cultural global team working on a variety of business consulting engagements such as Risk & Finance digital transformation, regulatory change management.

You will take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, experience design, business analysis, applied AI, tech strategy, program and change management. You will analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out-of-the-box, apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems, collaborate with client stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients.

You will also lead / contribute to sales pursuits, consulting offerings and internal initiatives, and participate in a variety of Firm building events.

Basic Qualifications – Product Owner

  • Experience in Enterprise Risk, Control, Compliance
  • Experience in UI/UX programs – Defining user interface and workflow
  • Own the product / value stream vision which will be the north star for driving strategic outcomes for the Scrum Team(s) supported.
  • Inspire the team to achieve the goals.
  • Lead the product functional design process and create the product roadmap based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Work in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Create features and functionalities which enable achieving business goals by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Create and own the product backlog prioritizing features which enable maximizing the business value.
  • Facilitate backlog decomposition sessions with the technology teams to clearly define requirements from a user perspective, inclusive of acceptance criteria breaking down large stories for the team to consume in one sprint.
  • Partner with the technology team to break down large stories based on estimation.
  • Participate in the testing /review sessions and provide support for release.
  • Accept work completed by the team prior to release to production.
  • Track and report product performance post-launch to evaluate / request future investment.
  • Create strong feedback loops by leading the agile events seeking continuous feedback from stakeholders and incorporate in the backlog to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Develop the culture of using OKRs to ensure team members align on the purpose of the work and cascade feedback related to risk and dependencies.

Participate in Scrum events representing the Product, and alignment with the Product Manager

  • Experience with agile testing and technical engineering techniques (TDD, BDD) tools a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with customer centric mindset to focus on client needs.
  • 7+ years working in agile culture with 5+ years of relevant experience working as a lead Product Owner for a program preferably in banking domain.
  • Should be an expert in writing detailed functional requirements in JIRA, creating Epic and User stories, Defining Acceptance Criteria
  • Should have SQL knowledge - should be able to write queries
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize the items that maximize business value while receiving requests from multiple stakeholders at the same times.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and team members to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • In depth analytical skills with the ability to synthesize findings.
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines and commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating collaborative sessions, managing customer expectations, and ensuring work is aligned with the enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Expertise with agile tools suites including Atlassian, MS Teams or similar agile management tooling.
  • Advanced Product Owner certifications.
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team, including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • In depth analytical skills with the ability to synthesize findings.
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines and commitments.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
