An established entertainment company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to revolutionize its Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts through advanced machine learning techniques and bidding optimization. THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Scientist – SEM Optimization, you will develop and implement machine learning models to improve ad performance. Your work will involve large-scale data analysis, bidding strategy optimization, and automated SEM process development, all of which will directly impact how the company allocates its marketing budget.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deploy predictive models to enhance SEM bidding strategies, optimizing spend and ROAS targets.
  • Streamline and automate SEM campaign structures to improve scalability and performance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of SEM data to drive strategic decisions for marketing and finance teams.
  • Apply machine learning methodologies across multiple marketing channels, including Search, CRM, and Display.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SEM strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Identify campaign inefficiencies and develop AI-powered solutions to boost performance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEM experience, including campaign management, bidding strategies, and structuring.
  • Strong background in data science and machine learning, particularly in bidding optimization, spend forecasting, and Target ROAS modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R for data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methodologies, including A/B testing and performance analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI.
  • Marketplace or eCommerce experience preferred, particularly within a B2C environment.
