At Grand Bay Electric, we believe contracting is not just a job – its  noble profession!  We are looking for a dedicated Small Engine Repair /Generator Technician who cares deeply about building strong relationships with their customers, delivering the highest quality service, and exceeding expectations. 

As a Generator Technician, you will support our growing base of new and existing generator customers with routine maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and warranty claims — all backed by a dependable schedule and full office support.
You'll focus on your craft while we take care of appointment scheduling, dispatching, and administrative support . In addition to continued learning through manufacturer-hosted training and development courses , you'll also have the opportunity to expand your certifications into other brands like Kohler to grow your value and career. What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled maintenance , repairs , and diagnostics on Generac standby generators
• Troubleshoot system issues with accuracy and efficiency
• Submit and manage warranty claims through Generac’s platform
• Provide clear, professional service to customers
• Arrive at appointments scheduled and coordinated by our in-house team

What You Bring

• Current Generac factory certification (Level 1, 2, or higher)
• Proven electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
