Job Description

Our client, a Well-known retail brand, is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team for a 6+ month contract with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years creating and managing content for paid social media campaigns and strong experience overseeing creator content, including briefing and feedback.

  • Remote, full-time hours
  • Rate: $43/hr
  • Monday through Friday.
  • Flexible time zone, with team members in Seattle and New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a content strategy and roadmap aligned with national marketing priorities and key retail calendar moments.
  • Collaborate with legal to manage contracts and oversee the monthly payment process.
  • Lead agency workstreams by creating detailed monthly content briefs for TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube. Review content and provide feedback for optimization.
  • Partner with internal teams to source and launch content. Create and refine SOPs and mechanisms to improve content creation, management, and synergy identification.
  • Analyze performance data to derive actionable insights. Report on campaign and social media analytics, presenting results during business reviews.
  • Design a content experimentation roadmap, identifying and testing emerging social trends in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end creator partnerships program, ensuring alignment and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing plans, strategic documents, and post-mortems for Social Innovation initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years managing creator content for paid social campaigns.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience briefing, reviewing, and overseeing the execution of social media content.
  • Expertise: Familiarity with platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube; targeting Gen Z in fashion, home, and beauty.
  • Tools: Knowledge of Airtable and Canto is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Content Management: Experience working with micro-creators and handling high-volume content production (50+ pieces per month).
  • Additional Qualifications: Direct content creation experience is a bonus.
