What you'll do at

Position Summary...

The Senior Manager of Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Investigations – Asset Protection Hub at Walmart will be responsible for leading a team of investigators to mitigate ORC fraud and loss across all Walmart U.S. stores. This role will also evaluate new and evolving methods of fraud and collaborate with business partners to develop prevention strategies.

What you'll do...

• Develop and Implement ORC Investigation Strategies : Create, communicate, and execute business strategies for asset protection, ensuring the implementation of sound ORC investigation strategies.

• Conduct Investigations: Investigate various levels of ORC activity, including sophisticated criminal networks.

• Data Driven Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends, enabling proactive monitoring and data-driven investigations.

• Develop Internal and External Relationships: Collaborate with the Asset Protection Hub, cross-functional leaders, and external business partners to drive remediation efforts based on investigation intelligence.

• Global Security Operations Center Support (GSOC): Support Asset Protection GSOC operations during incidents and activations.

What You'll Bring…

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

• Strategic Thinking: Expertise in creating and implementing effective asset protection investigative strategies.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess financial indicators and operational processes.

• Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal, state, and local laws related to safety and compliance.

• Crisis Management: Experience in preparing for and managing crises, including developing emergency procedures.

• 3 - 7 years of work experience in Fraud, Loss, and Corruption Investigation and Management.

• Preferred Certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Loss Prevention Certified (LPC), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Human Resource Professional (PHR), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Preferred Qualifications…

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field and 3 years’ experience in Investigative Casework/Management, Auditing, Security, or related field OR 5 years’ experience in Investigative Casework/Management, Auditing, Security, or related field.

• 2 years of Supervisory experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Production/Operations Management, or related field and 4 years’ experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience.
