Job Description

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

•Manage activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations

•Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements

•Optimize employee workflow and make suggestions for productivity improvements

•Ensure reduction of financial loss related to damaged products

•Analyze shipment logs and review timelines of scheduled deliveries

•Move inventory around by scheduling materials to be moved to-and-from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments

•Review and edit payroll and commission reports, submit reports for payment

•Opens and closes the shift

•Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers periodically

•Ensure that facility vehicles and equipment are properly maintained

•Determine and track most important KPIs

•Maintain storage area clean by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements when needed

•Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items

•Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

•Bachelor's or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable

•Forklift and OSHA certified preferred

•Experience of 2 to 3 years in warehousing or supply chain management

•Exceptional leadership skills and directing abilities

•Strong interpersonal, motivational capabilities, and communication skills

•Understanding of all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods

•Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines

•Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company

•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
