POSITION SUMMARY:

Plan, implement, and communicate marketing programs for assigned brands/product categories; measure brand strategies, including but not limited to new product development, promotional campaigns, market research, reporting and analysis, pricing strategy, and B2C / B2B communications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute brand promotional and new product launch plans; measure effectiveness of promotions and initiatives; record data, including but not limited to profitability analysis, payback, and ROI/ROAS analysis; track assigned brands and promotional advertising investments to ensure adherence to monthly allocated budget.
  • Execute and support the feasibility phase for new product development in collaboration with R&D, Innovation, Operations, and Supply Chain Teams.
  • Coordinate social media and digital channels to engage targeted consumers; promote brand growth; act as a liaison across social, digital media channels, and external contacts, e.g., agencies, vendors, influencers, and talent.
  • Present growth opportunities to management; communicate product quality concerns to operations, and handle marketing needs, e.g., support marketing and customer campaigns, existing and new product launches.
  • Research category insights; analyze and follow market trends and competitive landscape; segment, target, and position brands for long-term growth.
  • Provide metrics to the sales team, including but not limited to weekly and monthly scorecards; communicate with stakeholders and coordinate needs for qualitative and quantitative research; coordinate sampling, concept testing, and sensory analysis panels.
  • Coordinate development of marketing materials, packaging design, and sales collateral between corporate marketing, third-party vendors, sales, and trade marketing; follow up on quality of materials
  • Produce consistent brand image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, events, and all above-the-line brand communications.
  • Create and implement growth strategies; plan, create, and propose business growth for annual planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
  • One (1) year of professional Marketing experience
  • One (1) year of social media, web, and digital / SEO marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish and English (written and oral) – required for Hispanic Brands
  • Two (2) years of professional Marketing experience
  • Two (2) years of social media, web, and digital / SEO marketing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including skills with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience creating and analyzing Excel databases, graphs, pivot tables, and building compelling business presentations.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Premiere is highly recommended.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing daily workload to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines at the same time.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely, and articulate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with cross-functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to learn and able to flourish in a high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of consumer segmentation, targeting, and brand positioning, as well as consumer insights development.
  • Understanding of consumer needs, market trends, and competitive environment to segment, target, and position brands.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel up to 15% of the time and effectively work in a hybrid environment (both from home and in-office, as needed). Office location: City of Industry .

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Usual at-home and in-office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enables the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone, laptop computer keyboard/mouse, display screens, and remote video conferencing.

COMPENSATION:

  • $74,918 - $93,655 annual salary, depending on geography, skills, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on the achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations.
