Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant, located in Riverhead, NY. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist the physical therapist in providing quality patient care, including executing rehabilitation exercises, providing orthopedic support, and monitoring patient progress. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with patient assessments, implementing therapeutic plans, and ensuring overall patient comfort and safety. The role requires strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Experience in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
Skills in Patient Care and Quality Patient Care
Knowledge in sub acute rehab
Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New York State
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
